Challenge "Find the right route — Part 2"

  By: admin on Dec. 19, 2020, 4:53 p.m.

This series deals with a grid — a basic tool cryptographers use to separate sequences of data into columns and rows. In this challenge you are given four grids where the first grid gives you hints to reveal the plaintext of the second grid. Are you able to find the right route?

Hello everybody,

I found the right route in the first part and and now in this second part I also made the complete route in image 2.
I try to follow the instructions from image 2 to get a solution for image 4 with the help of image 3.
But here I get stuck. I'm not able to find something in image 3 that I can project to image 4 to get something useful.
(Tried to combine all these branches but found no sense)
May be it is too easy ( [HTML_REMOVED] ) but it does't make a 'click' in my brain…

May be somebody has please a little hint?

Best regards
Konubixe

Hi Konubixe,

You are on the right track. The branches are part of the solution, but in a different way. Maybe there is a way to work "around the branches"? I can't say more without spoiling to much.
Anyway, your aim should be to get a single path to solve the next step.

Greetings, Bernd

Hello, I have difficulties to have my answer accepted. So, here are some questions:

  1. Is the comma, between word2 and the sentence (as indicated in the pdf) necessary ?
  2. Must the last word of the full plaintext (49 chars) be included as part of the sentence ?
  3. must the words of the sentence be space separated ?

I have spent 7 trials so far, to no avail ... Thank you.

@newton: thanks a lot!

Actually the comma after word2 must be followed by a space ...
