Challenge "Molehunt (Part 2/3)"

This is part 2 of a 3-part challenge regarding the classical transposition. You can solve this challenge with pen and paper as well as with different software programs. To create the ciphertext the plaintext was first encrypted with a classical shift cipher. The result of this encryption was then further encrypted with a columnar transposition with a key length of less than 10 characters.

I have just solved this and I found that it was not an irregular columnar transposition but a regular one.

You are right. Hence, the description should not say "irregular" … going to change that.

Might I ask whether the 3rd part of this challenge is also a regular transposition?

I found the right text I think but I dont know what word to insert into solution. I tried two of them and nothing worked Can someone help me?

The codeword is mentioned in the plaintext. The German word for codeword is "Zugangsschluessel". I hope this helps.
