After solving the first part of this challenge, you can use the hints you found to decrypt the two ciphertexts that have been encrypted using the ADFGVX cipher.

Challenge "Cascading Encryption — Part 2/3"

the information in the solution of the first part of "Cascading Encryption" and the challengetext for the second part raise some questions:

  • are both transpositions equal (like in the first part)?
  • are the adfgvx-tables equal for both ciphertexts?

best regards,

Dear jomandi,

yes and yes. Both messages have been encrypted with the same ADFGVX-key (substitution and transposition).
