You should have said that they need to be in lower case letters.

Hi madness,

they don't "need" to be in lowercase. This could've been added as information, but with hutton cipher, keywords are case insensitive.

For the solution the keywords have to be concatinated and lowercased (as explained on p. 10)

Best,

newton

Also, I submitted the solution, and it said I have solved it, but the L2 page still says "0 users have solved", and that I have 13 attempts remaining.

For me this is shown correctly, likely your browser cache was outdated. If you force-refresh the page (CTRL+F5) it should be shown correctly. With your previous submission, those were in fact wrong. The 4th one was correct and logged as such. Congratulations for solving the challenge that fast!

Never had a problem with stale cache on MTC3 before. Too bad my browser refuses to respond to ctl-F5. Thanks for the congratulations.

I missed the notification for this challenge (or didn' get any). I also missed that the solution submission is lowercase. Perhaps the challenge description should state that "keyword1keyword2" implies this. E.g. "But pay attention. This could mean more than just connecting the keywords".

Sorry, I'm joking a bit.

As a not inexperienced member of MTC3, I always read the entries in the forum before each challenge, unless it is empty. So I have no right to complain (oder jemand auf den Arm zu nehmen).

After solving Part 1, I tried to reconstruct the keywords for a given plaintext and its encryption without a dictionary. I clearly failed.

Thanks for the challenges

Thank you very much for the feedback, you finally solved it tho. But for the next parts, I will make it even more clear what format is to be expected. Thanks for letting us know!
