Hi, there.

The instructions ask for a correctly cased plaintext. Are we to include spaces and punctuation? The ciphertext file is in UTF-8; should we submit a plaintext in that encoding also?

yes, please submit it in UTF-8 (including case sensitive, including spaces, punctuation, etc.).
